A day for good-bye
Today I am going to shoot a very sad good-bye. This is one of the hardest things that I can do in my life. Watch someone put their soldier on a plane for a year. Having to watch them say good-bye knowing that for an entire year they will miss birthdays, holidays, bedtime stories, and homework. School programs, boo boos, and growing up. So much can happen in a year and that is something we can't get back.
This time will be emotional for me, as I am already riding that emotional rollercoaster of our pending deployment. We just said welcome home 9 short months ago and our good-bye is looming in the all to near future.
With the grace of God, these soldiers will return home alive, and will be able to hopefully make up for all of this time lost. Please keep these soldiers in your prayers for their safe return.

Cute kids
Drove all the way down to Nashville to try and get some portfolio building shots. It was mid day so the lighting was very hard and hard to work with, but I did manage to get a few good shots.
